To be more specific the look of late 2006, has become the hairstyle to have for
2007.
The look is short, sexy and stylish. The good news is it doesn't just look

Short hair is back but its nothing new and goes back nearly 100 years.
Its back with a twist this year, not just as a fashion statement but as a
lifestyle statement to.
The background
In the 1920's it was seen as the height of chic and style and the short page boy
cut look was everywhere.
In the sixties female liberation was on the march and Twiggy became a superstar
of the generation and launched millions of short cuts with her distinctive look.
Women felt a new equality, power and having short hair made a life statement
along with the mini skirt. Women would do what they wanted to and today its back
in fashion and as a life statement as well.
The crop
Short hair cuts received a huge boost in 2006 when the model Agyness Deyn cut
her hair into a stunning platinum crop, modeled on 80s model Jenny Howarth.
Her career flourished, many fashion models followed her lead and established
this as the hairstyle of 2006.
Why short Crops?
There are two main reasons why the hairstyle of 2006 remains the hairstyle of
2007.
